Many students experience difficulties with logging into the Citrix desktops when they have not used it in awhile. If you are having trouble please try the following steps:
- Make sure you are using the Receiver App published on your Chromebook.
Do not try to connect to a web page.
- Make sure the URL for the Receiver App is exactly: https://citrix.samueliacademy.org It can be changed in the settings by clicking on the little gear icon in the bottom right corner of the Receiver window.
- Your user name is the first part of your email address. DO NOT include the "@samueliacademy.org".
- If you have done all these things and you still cannot get in:
- If you get a connection error: Reboot your Chromebook and go through steps 1 and 2 again. Connections and app updates often reset after a reboot.
- If you see the proper login screen but have a password problem, submit a helpdesk ticket for a password reset.
If the problems still persist, you may submit a ticket or come to the IT Office during office hours.
