Many students experience difficulties with logging into the Citrix desktops when they have not used it in awhile.  If you are having trouble please try the following steps:


  1. Make sure you are using the Receiver App published on your Chromebook. Image result for citrix receiver icon Do not try to connect to a web page.
  2. Make sure the URL for the Receiver App is exactly:  https://citrix.samueliacademy.org     It can be changed in the settings by clicking on the little gear icon in the bottom right corner of the Receiver window.
  3. Your user name is the first part of your email address.  DO NOT include the "@samueliacademy.org".
  4. If you have done all these things and you still cannot get in:
    1. If you get a connection error: Reboot your Chromebook and go through steps 1 and 2 again.  Connections and app updates often reset after a reboot.
    2. If you see the proper login screen but have a password problem, submit a helpdesk ticket for a password reset.

If the problems still persist, you may submit a ticket or come to the IT Office during office hours.
